Reflections of a Southern Daughter: A Memoir (By Cornelia Jones Pond)

Edited by Lucinda McKethan.

Daughter of one of Liberty County’s wealthiest plantation families, Cornelia Jones Pond recounts her life from 1834 to 1875, recording not only how the whirlwind of history changed her life, but also details of life in Liberty County in the 19th century. Her manuscript was discovered in the Midway Museum and edited by Lucinda MacKethan to preserve it for posterity.
